Labor Day Weekend Reflections

It's been a wonderful Labor Day weekend, and I’m so grateful to have spent it with family and friends. This time of year always brings a sense of renewal, and with college football back in full swing, it’s the perfect way to wrap up the summer.

Today, I officially began writing Inked Judgments, which is set to go live in January 2025. I tackled the prologue and Chapter One, and I’m feeling great about the progress. My goal is to write two chapters a day and have the first draft completed by September 16th. So far, so good!

As I sit here now, enjoying a movie with my family, I can’t help but feel a little sad. My son and his girlfriend are heading to Colorado tomorrow, and I’m really going to miss them. The house will definitely be quieter, and I’ll probably be moping around for a bit.

But for now, I’m cherishing these last moments and wishing you all a well-deserved Labor Day weekend. Happy grilling!
